Round Schooner and Fortune Lake are tow of the Northlands best camping areas. In recent years however, the terrain has been abused by ATV vehicles and it is common to hear the buzz of the ATV's into the eveing hours. Access to the area is adequate and one can bring their family and friends in a car without a problem.
On quite nights, just around sun set you can hear the loons from surrounding lakes calling for their mates. In the mornings you often are waking up to the same loon calls, right in front of you, on this beutiful mass of clean, Ontario lake water.

I've been there many times - love the terrain and great hiking. Too bad about all the atv's but all-inall very enjoyable!
